Marsala<\/p>\n

In the midst of the cacophony
\nyou hold your fingers-
\nshare your wine sip
\nand muted secrets.<\/p>\n

lipstick blotches, done & redone
\nclinks of dinner plates
\nlove bites, hidden in Chantilly lace
\nmessages from far away woods,
\nbestrewed thousand miles night
\nlike mystic fire flies
\nin an enduring travel<\/p>\n

In the midst of the cacophony
\nyou meet yourself, waiting
\non the other side of the table.<\/p>\n

(2) <\/p>\n

Grey<\/p>\n

She breathes better in grey
\nthose black & white garnishing on paper, makes her alive
\nThe wind riffles the pages
\nShe feels the craving
\nIt’s a journey from table to table
\nVoyage from Poet to poet
\nShe dreams of a never-ending poem
\nShe dreams better in grey…<\/p>\n

(3) <\/p>\n

Scarlet<\/p>\n

Words, she weaved round-the-clock<\/p>\n

words from the saddest sob<\/p>\n

the electric humming of oozing moments<\/p>\n

her mid-night melody,<\/p>\n

journey from forsaken to forever…<\/p>\n

but the night was cold<\/p>\n

entwined threads were gloomy & dark<\/p>\n

And,\u2026 the falling stars devour the frozen story<\/p>\n

(4) <\/p>\n

Black<\/p>\n

She secures them in her womb,
\nunclad droplets of melancholy
\nwrapping in tender sheets of silence…
\nfeeding unspoken truths.<\/p>\n

She nurtures, dreams,
\nvulnerably falls in love,
\nswims through the runnel of
\nFantasy & flame, bliss & blade.<\/p>\n

She gives them birth on paper
\nand whispers ‘Fly, my precious.
